Whitley Hall Wedding

Whitley Hall is a venue I fall in love with more an more every time I visit. It's such a lovely place perfectly located on the outskirts of Sheffield, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city without being too hard to get to. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I honestly can not rate them enough. Nestled in the countryside of Grenoside the 16th century, Ivy clad mansion is located amongst 20 acres of stunning gardens and woodland and makes a perfect backdrop for relaxed weddings. Ollie and Fran picked this perfect location for their big day last year and although the craziness of 2020 forced them to change their original plans they were still determined to have the best day ever

Against All Odds

Like all couple Ollie & Fran had a vision of their dream big day. They 2020 rolled around and decided it was going to throw a spanner in the works. Right from the start of the first lock down in March 2020 we all stayed in touch to figure out a game plan for their big day in September. Despite all the uncertainty Fran was determined to let not let a little thing like a pandemic get in the way of her special day. They decided to wait it out and no matter what, they were getting married.

The Perfect Micro - Wedding

September rolled round and restrictions were still in place for weddings. Were Fran and Ollie bothered? not in the slightest!

From start to finish the day was full of so much fun and so many laughs, celebrated with their closest family bubbles. The day was much shorter than a usual wedding but it was perfect in every way. Their original plans of a big wedding and reception obviously had to change but it didn’t make it any less of a wedding. They still got married, they still got to dance their first dance, they still got to cut their cake and they still got to share every special moment with their closest family.

Despite everything these two have seriously proved that against all the odds, love still wins every single time.
